Sycuan Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

Sycuan Casino Resort is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its hotel and resort opening with giveaways, promotions, food and drink specials, cake cuttings and live entertainment on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28. Additionally, March 27 will mark the official opening date of Retreat Pool & Cabanas for the 2020 pool season and DJ Cwitch will be playing at the pool from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Retreat Pool & Cabanas will be open daily from 9 a.m. to sunset for San Diego casino hotel guests. Visitors can buy day passes Monday through Friday each week. Guests can enjoy an adult’s only pool with a swim-up bar, a family pool, lazy river, two hot tubs and an expansive pool deck furnished with oversized daybeds and cabanas. Retreat’s poolside menu features seasonal bites and a full bar serving fresh mojitos, margaritas and champagne-infused cocktails.

Beginning at 10 a.m. on March 27, guests can enjoy free cupcake giveaways throughout the day. From 2 p.m. to midnight guests can participate in FREEplay Hot Seat Drawings, where 11 guests will win $100 in FREEplay every hour. Live entertainment begins at 3 p.m. and continues throughout the evening and a performance by Bird Singers and a giant cake cutting will take place in the main lobby beginning at 6:15 p.m.

On Saturday, March 28, guests can enjoy even more live entertainment and participate in a variety of promotions including Spring into Blackjack and Bad Bingo Circus Spectacular.

Viewpoint Neighborhood Kitchen is also celebrating throughout the month of March on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with a Three-Course Anniversary Dinner for $30. The dinner includes a choice of a Viewpoint House Salad, Three Onion Soup or Blue Crab Cakes, a second course of a Certified Angus Top Sirloin, Pan Seared Halibut or Madeira Chicken and concludes with a delectable Anniversary Candy Bar Cake.
