What do I need to reserve a room?

We require a credit card in order to guarantee your reservation. You must be at least 21 years of age with valid ID to check-in.

Can you add a rollaway bed to my room?

Rollaway beds can be accommodated in some room types and are available for an additional charge. Please call reservations for further details.

What do I need at check-in?

A valid form of photo ID and credit or debit card is required to check in to authorize for incidental room charges.

Can someone else check-in to my room for me?

Yes. Please contact room reservations to provide an additional name. The additional guest will be required to provide their identification and credit card upon check-in as well as meet minimum age requirements with a valid ID.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time will be 3:00 p.m. Check-out time will be 11:00 a.m.

How much is the incidental hold or security deposit?

Check in Policy:
At check in a government issued ID and credit card will be collected where the total value of your stay and $100/night (up to $500 during the duration of your stay) will be held for anticipated charges. At check-out any unused pre-authorized funds will be released by the hotel. Dependent on your credit card company’s policies, please understand that it may take up to 30 days after your departure for the funds to be returned to our account.

Can I use a debit card for incidentals?

Yes. The funds will be removed from your account upon check-in. Return of the funds to your account can vary depending on your financial institution and can take up to 30 days. Please contact your bank for further information about return of funds.

Can the person staying with me use their credit card for incidentals?

Yes. Additional occupants of the room can provide a valid credit card to be used for payment.

Can I cancel my reservation after booking?

Reservations can be canceled at no penalty up to 48 hours before arrival date. Within the 48-hour period before arrival date, a fee of first night’s room & tax is assessed.

Can I use a debit card or pre-paid card?

Guests can use debit cards upon check-in although refunds and authorization releases can take from 3-30 days depending on your banking institution. Guests cannot use pre-paid credit cards upon check-in but can use them to settle their bill at check-out.

Can I bring my pet to stay in the hotel?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets. Guests can contact the hotel directly for local kennel information. If you travel with a service animal, we reserve the right to charge a penalty for any damages incurred during your stay. A service animal is a animal that is trained and required to do work or perform a task due to a disability. An animal whose sole function is to provide emotional support or comfort does not qualify as a service animal.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Outside food and beverage of any kind are not permitted.

Is the hotel non-smoking?

Yes, the hotel is a non-smoking facility. Guests that violate the non-smoking policy will be responsible for a cleaning fee in the amount of $500.

What is the maximum number of guests per room?

It depends on the room type. Please call reservations at 619-445-6002 for additional details.

Do you charge a resort fee?

Yes. Our resort fee is $10 per day and includes the following amenities:

• High Speed Internet access
• Coffee Maker with complimentary k-cups
• In-room water bottles
• Access to Fitness Center, Pool, and Lazy River
• Pool Rafts for each registered guest
• Turndown Service (upon request)
• E-Newspaper access

Can guests receive mail at Sycuan Casino Resort?

Yes. USPS delivery to the front desk is Monday – Friday only. Please have mail arrival 2 days prior for guest stay. Packages will only be Monday-Friday.

All Mail and packages will be stored until your arrival. Please make sure the item is addressed to the registered guest.

Are children allowed to stay at the resort?

At this time we are not allowing anyone under the age of 21 into the casino or hotel.

Does Sycuan Casino Resort offer childcare?

We do not offer any childcare services, however you may call concierge and inquire about 3rd party options.

What are my Club Sycuan benefits?

Discounts are available to Elite, Diamond, Black and Freedom/First Responder Club Sycuan members. Guests can book their exclusive discount by calling Room Reservations at 619.445.6002.

Can friends and family members use my Club Sycuan benefits?

Club Sycuan benefits are tailored to each guest and are non-transferable.

Does Sycuan Casino Resort offer discounts for military and AAA members?

Yes. We offer a 10% discount for active duty military members, and current AAA cardholders. Please call 619-445-6002 to inquire. Subject to availability.

Can I arrange a limo or luxury car service?

Absolutely! Limo and car service can be arranged through the concierge. Please call 619.445.6002 ext.1965 for assistance.

Is there any cost to park or valet?

There is no charge for self-parking or for valet services.

What is the distance from downtown San Diego to Sycuan Casino Resort?

Sycuan’s San Diego casino hotel is about a 35 minute drive from downtown San Diego.

What is the dress code for Retreat Pool & Cabanas / DIP Day Club?

The dress code forbids the following:

  • Baggy or oversized clothing
  • Bandanas
  • Work boots
  • Torn or ripped clothing
  • Jerseys
  • Athletic sneakers
  • Large chains

Footwear is required.

All bags subject to search.

Is there a swimming pool/spa/fitness center?

  • Sycuan Casino Resort features three pools, including a lazy river and adults only pool, equipped with swim up bars, cabanas, and pool chairs.
  • Sycuan’s San Diego spa, Spa Ritual, is located on the lower level of the casino on your way to the pool and offers a wide variety of services, including massage and salon services.
  • The fitness center is located adjacent to Spa Ritual.

Does Sycuan Casino Resort provide wheelchairs?
