As a proud sponsor of the Armed Services YMCA San Diego, Sycuan Casino Resort was honored to provide the nonprofit a premier golf venue for their 29th Annual ASY Golf Classic tournament. Through this event, we were happy to continue supporting the nonprofit’s mission of enhancing the lives of military families through programs that provide resources, support, and community connections.

This year, military personnel and families gathered at Singing Hills Golf Club for the 29th Annual ASY Golf Classic tournament to enjoy a day of golf, friendly competition, and camaraderie. The tournament featured exciting contests like closest-to-pin and longest drive, along with mulligans, raffle prizes, and a lunch buffet. Throughout the event, service members and their families connected, shared common interests, and strengthened their bonds.

With many ways the nonprofit enhances the lives of military families, the Armed Services YMCA San Diego newest projects include the new Center for Military Families. The facility will feature seven new classrooms for children, an outdoor community space with a playground, a new outdoor learning area, a diamond field, and sports field, strengthening the community of service members.

With an outstanding turnout, the tournament was a success thanks to the generous support of sponsors, volunteers, and attendees. Service members and their families enjoyed a day of golf, camaraderie, and appreciation, while the event raised vital funds for the nonprofit’s mission.
