Welcome to Sycuan Casino Resort

Sycuan Casino Resort has experienced tremendous growth over the past 40 years to become the premier San Diego casino hotel of choice. Sycuan proudly boasts world-class accommodations including live entertainment venues, gaming, casual and fine dining options, a full-service spa and salon, and the only 3 pool venue in San Diego.

“Our casino resort and golf property have experienced tremendous growth over the past few years,” said Sycuan Tribal Chairman Cody Martinez. “We’re proud to see Sycuan become one of the most popular, all-inclusive, entertainment and resort destinations in Southern California.”

When the Bingo Hall first opened in 1983, the tribe’s goals were to secure basic essentials including jobs, housing, and infrastructure on the reservation. Through gaming and business diversification, the tribe became self-reliant and now allows for opportunities to strengthen communities both on and off the reservation through job creation, charitable giving, and the ability to fund many vital programs and services.

“The revenues generated from our business enterprises allow us to fund all aspects of our tribe and government, which includes tribal programs, but also things like our medical, dental center and our fire and police departments, all of which service the entire community.” said Vice Chairman Josh Muse.

Sycuan is proud to support vital charities, nonprofits, civic groups, and local events to benefit the entire region. According to Councilmember Nathan LaBrake, sharing financial resources and time are important parts of Kumeyaay culture. “Helping so many people is something to be proud of.”

“Sycuan and other tribes are not that far removed from being on the receiving end of that generosity,” said Chairman Martinez. “It’s an honor for us to be able to extend a helping hand to our neighbors in need.”

ABOUT SYCUAN BAND OF THE KUMEYAAY NATION

Members of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation have resided in and around the foothills of the Dehesa Valley for more than 12,000 years. Today they are a modern government providing public services to their members, employees and neighbors. The Sycuan Tribal Government operates one of the region’s premier Indian gaming and resort facilities, Sycuan Casino Resort. The Sycuan Tribe demonstrates its strong commitment to the San Diego region through the support of hundreds of civic and charitable organizations.

The Tribe also seeks to reinvest back into the San Diego community with a progressive business development and diversification effort. The tribe is a major investor in and owner of the 30th Major League Soccer (MLS) team that was awarded to the city of San Diego in 2023, becoming the first native American tribe to be part-owner of any men’s major league sports franchise. They purchased the former Singing Hills Country Club and the historic U.S. Grant Hotel; developed the Marina Gateway Hotel and Conference Center in National City; and constructed and operates the Sycuan Market and convenience store. Combined, these enterprises now employ nearly 3,500 San Diegans. For more information on Sycuan visit www.sycuantribe.com.
