Sycuan Fire Department obtained two new fire engines in June. These new, top-of-the-line engines provide the fire department with more resources to respond to a wide variety of emergencies.
According to Chief of Fire Zach Carrillo, they will enable Sycuan Firefighters to respond faster, safer, and with more capability.
“This will definitely increase our capacity to save lives, property and help preserve the land.” Said Carrillo.
Sycuan Tribal Council Member, Jamie LaBrake blessed both engines, along with Sycuan Fire and Golden Eagles Hot Shots members.
