Being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis can bring uncertainty. Concerning questions come to mind, like ” What’s going to happen to me?” ” How will this affect my family?” or “Who’s going to take care of me?” For this reason, Sycuan Casino Resort partners with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to provide proper support and care to those impacted by multiple sclerosis.
“On behalf of the Pacific South Coast Chapter of the National MS Society I am beyond thrilled to have Sycuan as our long-standing partner in our fight against multiple sclerosis,” said Renata Sahagian, the President of the Pacific South Coast.
Sycuan Tribal Council presented a $15,000 donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society on Thursday, April 3. This contribution supports the organization’s mission to find a cure for multiple sclerosis while also ensuring that individuals and families affected by the disease receive the care and support they need.
“Sycuan’s partnership enables the chapter to positively impact the lives of individuals affected by multiple sclerosis, including participating in community events,” Sahagian added.
Additionally, Sycuan Casino Resort took its commitment to the cause even further by participating in Walk MS: San Diego 2025. On Saturday, April 12, approximately 144 Sycuan Team Members gathered at Preble Field in NTC Park, Liberty Station, raising awareness and funds for multiple sclerosis research and community support.
Through donations, partnerships, and community events, Sycuan Casino Resort is proud to sponsor the National Sclerosis Society Pacific South Coast Chapter, supporting the nonprofit’s mission to help individuals with multiple sclerosis live a healthy lifestyle. Since 2009, Sycuan has been participating in the Walk MS and continues to advocate for critical research to find a cure for multiple sclerosis.
