Sycuan Casino Resort Honors Nonprofits with Nearly $200,000 in Holiday Contributions

December 30, 2025

Celebrating Nonprofits in San Diego

The holiday season isn’t just about lights and celebrations, it’s about the spirit of giving, sharing and spreading holiday joy with those around us. With that same spirit, Sycuan Casino Resort kicked off December with its Annual Gift Giving Ceremony to donate funds and honor charities in health, youth services, veterans’ assistance, the arts and environmental conservation.

Sycuan’s 2025 Holiday Gift Giving Ceremony

During the event, Sycuan Casino Resort donated $197,000 to 26 charities right before the holidays. To celebrate the spirit of giving, invited nonprofit leaders joined members of the Sycuan Tribal Council and executives of Sycuan Casino Resort and Singing Hills Golf Course for a celebratory breakfast.

After, Josh Muse, Vice Chairman of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation opened the ceremony with welcome remarks. He emphasized the true purpose of the event, honoring the vital role each organization plays in strengthening the community.

“With the gifts this morning, we honor your humanity, your heart for service and in dedicating your calling to those who need a helping hand,” Muse said. “On behalf of the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation, Sycuan Casino Resort and Singing Hills Golf Club, thank you and happy holidays.”
