BEGINNER’S GUIDE TO PLAYING EZ BACCARAT

how to play ez baccarat

Everyone has their favorite card games or slots they are drawn to whenever they hit the casino floor. Often, guests will beeline straight to the table or game they enjoy most in the hopes of winning a jackpot.  Rarely do they stray from what they know to try something new. But if you are stuck in a rut or want to venture into new gaming territory when you’re at the casino, EZ Baccarat is a fun game to drop in on.

EZ Baccarat is widely popular in California as an Asian casino table game and is played nearly the same as regular Baccarat. There is a “Banker” or “Player,” and you’re allowed to bet on either.

But for the variation, the letters E-Z- mean commission free. This version of Baccarat is both easy and quick to play. The dealer deals two hands – the Player and the Banker – and each hand receives two cards. The goal of the game is to bet on which hand will add up to a total closest to nine.

The twist to remember o\n this is that when adding up the total, it doesn’t always have to equal the number nine exactly. For example, 19 would be a winning hand because it ends in 9.

Depending on the cards dealt, each hand may be dealt a third card. Players can wager on either hand and they can bet if there will be a tie. One of the biggest differences of EZ Baccarat when compared to the traditional version is there is no commission on the winning Banker hand wagers.

As part of EZ Baccarat rules, there are also Dragon 7 and Panda 8 side bets that can be made. A Dragon 7 is when the Banker is dealt three cards totaling seven. The payout here is 40:1. When a Player has a total of eight dealt with three cards, this is a Panda 8 and the pay is 25:1.

Baccarat is based on the cards you’re dealt. It doesn’t require a lot of strategy before sitting down to play the game, which makes it alluring for beginners who want to get in on the action. It’s a game where newbies can catch on quickly.

In addition to EZ Baccarat, there are also several other Asian table games offered on our casino floor, including Double Hand Baccarat and Fortune Pai Gow Poker. For those who are newer to playing card games, EZ Baccarat is good one to start with because there are minimal cards to keep track of and a lucky hand could pay off big.
