Sycuan Casino Resort Sponsors The 34th Annual Mama’s Day Event
Sycuan Casino Resort donated $25,000 to Mama’s Kitchen this year, supporting their culinary fundraising event, Mama’s Day. The fundraising event helps the nonprofit continue providing medically tailored meal delivery services for those at risk of malnutrition due to critical illnesses.
“Sycuan Casino Resort’s partnership and support of Mama’s Kitchen has been pivotal to the growth and impact of our organization,” CEO of Mama’s Kitchen, Eva Matthews. “And for more than 21 years, Sycuan has championed our mission and the greater San Diego community by helping us provide this life-sustaining nutrition.”
Hosted at Hilton San Diego Bayfront, Mama’s Day brings together attendees, San Diego’s top chefs, and restaurants for a day of fundraising, live entertainment, and unlimited tastings. All proceeds from Mama’s Day go towards Mama’s Kitchen’s medically tailored meal delivery services. At no cost to the nonprofit’s clients, the meal service supports the health and well-being of individuals and families vulnerable to malnutrition due to critical illnesses like HIV, cancer, congestive heart failure, type 2 diabetes, and chronic kidney disease.
That’s why Sycuan Casino Resort has been supporting Mama’s Kitchen for many decades. We believe that proper nutritional resources are crucial in helping those facing serious health challenges. We’re passionate about contributing to a charity that reflects our core values of a healthy community, one meal at a time.
