Sycuan Poker’s “Straight Madness” Jackpot Bonus

Official Rules
1. This promotion is open to Club Sycuan members only. Guests who are not members of Club Sycuan that would like to participate in this promotion can sign up for free to become a member at any Club Sycuan booth in the casino with current government-issued picture identification.
2. You must be 21 years of age or older and have a current government-issued picture identification to become a Club Sycuan member and to participate in this promotion.
3. A player is eligible for “Straight Madness” by actively participating in any No Limit Hold’em or Limit Hold’em jackpot eligible Poker game from Monday through Sunday at 12am- 8am.
4. A players two cards must be consecutive cards in rank starting with 4-5. (e.g., 4-5, 5-6…Q-k, K-A).
5. The straight made at showdown must be used as a top end of a straight for that starting combination.
a. Example: Hole cards 4 (clubs) 5 (hearts) . The qualifying straight is a 5-high (A-2-3-4-5)
6. Both hole cards must be used in the straight.
7. Board-only straights or straights that do not use both hole cards do not quality.
8. The straight must be the winning hand at showdown- ties for the win qualify. Same hand, both players will be paid out individually.
9. Multiple players can win in the same hand if they have the same qualifying straights that win part of the main pot.
10. Suits do not matter. Both suited and unsuited consecutive cards qualify.
11. Payout Table: Highest hole cards in Straight
a. 4, 5 high straight (Wheel): A-2-3-4-5. $150
b. 5, 6 high straight: 2-3-4-5-6. $75
c. 6, 7 high straight: 3-4-5-6-7. $60
d. 7, 8 high straight: 4-5-6-7-8. $60
e. 8, 9 high straight: 5-6-7-8-9. $50
f. 9, 10 high straight: 6-7-8-9-10. $50
g. 10, Jack high straight: 7-8-9-10-Jack. $40
h. Jack, Queen high straight. 8-9-10-J-Queen. $40
i. Queen, King high straight. 9-10-J-Q-King. $30
j. King, Ace high straight (Broadway): 10-J-Q-K-Ace. $25

12. There must be at least the minimum of twenty dollars ($20) in the pot to be rewarded a
”Straight Madness” payout in a cash game.
13. During this promotion, Omaha only will run from 12am-8am. $50 for any quads.
14. Players can win this Bonus in conjunction with a jackpot. All other Promotions or Jackpot
Bonuses will be active.
15. Players may win multiple times during the course of this promotion.
16. Proper tabling must be practiced in order to be eligible to win the bonus.
a. Proper Tabling is both:
1. Turning all face cards face up on the table.
2. Allowing the dealer and players to read the hand clearly.
b. “All cards” means both hole cards in hold’em.
c. At showdown players must protect their hands while waiting for cards to be read.
Players who don’t fully table all cards, then muck thinking they’ve won, do so at their
own risk. If a hand is not 100% retrievable and identifiable and the floor manager rules it
was not clearly read, the player has no claim to the pot or promotion. The floor manager
decision on whether a hand was sufficiently tabled is final.
d. Dealers cannot kill a properly tabled hand that was obviously the winner.
17. Any promotion payout of $200 or less, will be added to the player’s stack at the table.
18. All winners are responsible for any applicable taxes, tax forms, fees, gratuities and other
government-imposed fees. If the cumulative total of the calendar’s year’s prizes should total
$600 or more, a 1099 will be filed with the I.R.S.
19. Employees of Sycuan Casino Resort, Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan, or Sycuan Gaming
Commission, are not eligible for any Sycuan Casino Resort promotion. All licensed vendor
employees who have been issued a permanent badge cannot participate in any Sycuan Casino
Resort promotion while they are assigned to work at Sycuan Casino Resort. It is the
responsibility of the player to apprise the promotion team that they are not eligible for the
promotion. Failure to do so may result in rescindment of prize.
20. Sycuan Tribal members and their spouses are eligible to participate in all Sycuan Casino Resort
promotions, tournament, special events, and prize pools with no prize limitation.
a. Exception: Sycuan Tribal members, who are active casino employees, will not be eligible
to participate in any Sycuan Casino Resort promotions, tournaments, special events, and
prize pools.
21. All winners agree to allow Sycuan Casino Resort to use their image and likeness for any future
marketing and promotional purposes without further compensation to the winner.
22. Participation in this promotion constitutes agreement to the above rules of the giveaway.
23. Any participant found to be abusing Club Sycuan and/or promotion rules and/or tampering with
the promotion in any way may be disqualified and declared ineligible for any prize.
24. Sycuan management has the right to modify or cancel this promotion at any time without
advance notice.
