Formed in 1971 by Lonesome Dave Peverett and Roger Earl, Foghat has released eight Gold records, one Platinum record, and one Double-Platinum record. The band sadly lost Lonesome Dave Peverett and Rod Price, but Roger Earl has made sure to keep the founding members’ musical legacy going strong.

Even if Foghat had only brought us “Slow Ride,” its place in rock history would’ve already been secured, but its iconic blend of blues, boogie, and rock continues to shake walls and fans everywhere, proving the band rocks just as hard as it did decades ago, if not harder. Foghat continually tours, putting on epic live shows filled with incredible energy and musicianship.

It also continues to produce music, releasing a studio album titled “Under the Influence” in 2016, a live album titled “Live at the Belly Up” in 2017, and a live DVD in 2018. As Roger Earl put it, “We are still a work in progress, writing and recording, and plan to be until the day we depart this earth!”
