Marcelito Pomoy: Beyond the Limelight with The Dreamboats

Marcelito Pomoy:
Known for his exceptional ability to sing in both male and female voices, Pomoy gained fame for his talent on Pilipinas Got Talent, impressing audiences with his rendition of Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion’s duet “The Prayer.” Later, he competed on America’s Got Talent: The Champions, where he reached the third runner up. Despite facing hardships in his childhood, including his father’s imprisonment and his mother’s abandonment, Pomoy persevered through odd jobs and discovered his talent for singing. Now, he’s gearing up for his European, Canadian and USA tour, and is working on his first international album featuring original songs alongside covers. Despite initial skepticism, Pomoy eventually accepted invitations to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and America’s Got Talent, where he captivated audiences with his performances. His journey from adversity to international acclaim serves as an inspiration, and he looks forward to showcasing his talent in different countries.

This quartet of Canadian boys delivers a high energy show that has audiences dancing the night away! After international tours in both Europe and California, The Dreamboats are ready to tear up the stage with their award-winning tunes inspired by the 50s & 60s music that they adore. Their on-stage antics are complimented by tales from their adventures on the road: from performing at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool (where the Beatles cut their teeth), to hearing how Rock n’ Roll came to Canada first-hand from the legendary Ronnie Hawkins, to swimming in Elvis Presley’s pool! The Dreamboats are bringing back sounds from this timeless era forward for a new generation to discover.
