As a teenager in Colombia, the musician started a band called Ekhymosis, inspired by rock bands like Metallica and the Beatles before deciding to pursue a solo career in 1998. Just two years later, his breakout album “Fijate Bien” earned him three Latin Grammys. His follow-up album, “Un Día Normal,” went certified platinum in Latin America.

Since then, Juanes has sold over 15 million albums worldwide, featuring mega chart-topping hits like “A Dios Le Pido,” “Volverte a Ver,” “La Camisa Negra,” “Me Enamora,” “La Paga,” “Mala Gente,” “Es Por Ti,” “Nada Valgo Sin Tu Amor,” and “Fotografia” featuring Nelly Furtado. He’s picked up a whopping 20 Latin Grammys, two Grammy Awards, and the BMI President’s Award.
