Sycuan Celebrates National Deaf History Month

April 28, 2021

National Deaf History Month is celebrated every year to recognize the accomplishments of people who are deaf and hard of hearing. Sycuan Casino Resort celebrated by proudly donating $5,000 to Deaf Community Services and spotlighting Sycuan Team Members who have been impacted by hearing impairment.

Sycuan Team Member Danny Tagaloa says,”From my personal experience, the first thing that comes to my mind when I enter any establishment, is trying to figure out whether or not they provide any ASL services to help assist me in communication. ASL has allowed me to connect and create positive experiences for our guests. I’m very proud to be a part of this community and to celebrate National Deaf History Month at Sycuan Casino Resort.”
