Back for its second year, the Sycuan Burger Challenge features three chefs battling it out for the right to be crowned Burger Champion! Each chef was scored in 6 categories on a scale of 1-10: Presentation, Taste of Burger, Taste of Side, Cohesiveness of Burger & Side, Beer Pairing and Creativity.
ALL three burgers will be on the GameDay Sports Bar & Grill menu during the month of April so you can judge for yourself!

Craft Burger by Chef Jason Hughes½ pound patty of ground brisket and short ribs. Served on an onion roll and topped with thick peppered maple bacon, creamy Stilton bleu cheese, sautéed baby portabellas, Maui onion, green leaf lettuce, beef steak tomatoes and a sweet stout Aioli. Served with truffle parmesan shoestring fries and roasted garlic – cracked black pepper dipping sauce.

Blue Cheese Bison Burger by Chef Andrew ModrzejewskiAll Natural ground bison, Shropshire Blue cheese, peppered pork belly, crisp Granny Smith apples, and maple aioli on a grilled brioche bun. Accompanied by fingerling steak fries and whole grain honey mustard.

Surf & Turf Ramen Burger by Chef Wallace MaGround ribeye and shrimp patty, Jack cheese, baby arugula, beef steak tomatoes, soft shell crab, sunny side up egg and sriracha aioli on a crispy ramen noodle bun. Accompanied by an Asian choy slaw.
