Sycuan Recognizes Partnership with Rey Mysterio Jr. with 15-Foot Wrestling Mask Billboard

(San Diego, Calif.) – May 1, 2017 – On Thursday, Sycuan Casino will install a new billboard to honor the organization’s ongoing partnership with wrestling icon Rey Mysterio Jr. The new billboard that is located off the interstate 805 and 5 interchange in San Ysidro, will feature a massive 3D replica of Mysterio’s famous wrestling mask that is over 15-feet tall, over 11-feet wide and weighs 500 pounds.

“Rey Mysterio Jr. is such a well-known, iconic local hero,” said John Dinius, general manager at Sycuan Casino. “We are so proud to have him as an ambassador of Sycuan.”

Mysterio, a San Diego native and former WWE wrestler began the partnership with Sycuan in 2015 and plans to be in attendance as the mask prop is installed. The billboard is entirely in Spanish and is the latest addition to Sycuan’s Play. Win. Together. 3D billboard series.
