Denise Shields, Chair of the CAPE Award , stated: “The Baldrige Award at both the state and national level have the same criteria. The criteria are rigorous and organizations that apply are putting themselves through the most respected and demanding filter in the country. To win this award on any level is worthy of tremendous respect.”
“Winning this award would not have been possible without the contributions of all the Sycuan Resort and Casino employees,” said General Manager Steve Penhall. “The business information reported in the 50-page award application reflects your outstanding performance and dedication to sustaining workplace excellence. Thank you for helping Sycuan achieve this prestigious award and moving us closer to fulfilling our mission of becoming the best.”
