On December 12th Sycuan Tribal Police Officers joined police officers from throughout San Diego County for the 16th annual Teddy Bear Drive Delivery at Rady Children's Hospital. Each year San Diego Law Enforcement agencies gather teddy bears from various organizations and foundations to donate to Rady Children's Hospital to be given to thousands of children who can't be home for the holidays.

In addition to collecting teddy bears, Sycuan made a donation of $25,000 to this years drive to purchase additional fuzzy friends year-round. The long-term goal is to collect enough stuffed animals to provide one for each of the approximately 300,000 children treated at Rady Children's Hospital each year.
