| Sycuan Tribal Members Elect New Tribal Council Chairman, Council to take office January, 2007, for four year terms December 4, 2006 SYCUAN INDIAN RESERVATION, CA – The Sycuan General Council elected their new Tribal Council on Saturday, December 2, 2006. Officers and Council members will assume office on January 3, 2007, for four year terms. The 2007-2010 Tribal Council is: Chairman Daniel Tucker; Vice Chairman Ricci LaBrake; Secretary Candelita Billingsly; Treasurer Cody Martinez; and Council members Orlando Sandoval, Deedra Tucker, and Pilar Pettiford. The election was overseen by California Indian Legal Services (CILS), the first Indian controlled non-profit law firm organized to provide specialized legal services to Indian Tribes founded over thirty years ago.
